Founded by Dr. Lorine Mays-Parker, MBA and Bernard F. Parker Jr., Gye Nyame Consulting combines doctoral-level research, executive leadership, and more than five decades of public service and school reform experience.
Dr. Mays-Parker brings expertise in strategic planning, performance improvement, professional development, and organizational alignment — grounded in applied research and data-driven frameworks.
As Co-Founder, Bernard F. Parker Jr. brings transformational leadership shaped by 22 years as a Wayne County Commissioner and more than 15 years as CEO of a nonprofit school management organization, where he led two comprehensive five-year strategic plans, doubled school enrollment, improved student outcomes, and managed multi-million-dollar budgets . His leadership also spans economic development, financial oversight, and large-scale community investment initiatives.
