MEET DR. LORINE MAYS PARKER
About Us
Dr. Lorine Mays-Parker is a distinguished professional, community leader, and consultant with more than 40 years of experience spanning the automotive industry, nonprofit sector, and education. She began her career at General Motors before joining Ford Motor Company, where she advanced from production supervision to strategic planning manager. Over her 15-year tenure, she helped shape Ford’s global manufacturing framework, introducing performance metrics that improved quality and reduced costs worldwide. She retired in 2016.
Following retirement, Dr. Mays-Parker founded Gye Nyame Consulting Services, Inc., where she brings her expertise in strategic planning, compliance, facilitation, fundraising, and organizational development to public and charter schools across Michigan..
